Regular Attendance at school is vital if pupils are to make the most of the opportunities Fernhurst has to offer and for their future. We know that there is a direct link between good attendance and good progress.
Family holidays should not be taken during term time.
If you feel your child is not well enough to come to school please telephone the office on the first day of absence and every day after that, until the child returns.
If a child has a medical appointment, please send them to school and collect them after registration. It is also important to return children to school after appointments so that they are here for afternoon registration and lessons.
We are happy to supervise the administering of medicine if parents have given us their written consent, this can support your child to return to school. To do this please come to the office and complete a short medical consent form.
Thank you for your support in these procedures.
